Introducing the NeuroArts Blueprint

We are excited to announce the launch of the NeuroArts Blueprint, a global field-building initiative from the Aspen Institute’s Health, Medicine and Society Program and the International Arts + Mind Lab.

The NeuroArts Blueprint will articulate and advance the scientific foundation and evidence for the role of arts in health and wellbeing through the lens of research, practice, policy, funding, community-building, and communications. There are five commissioned reports underway and 12 stakeholder gatherings planned. We expect to release the Blueprint’s recommendations in late spring 2021. Read the full press release here.

We are proud that IAM Lab is a lead partner in this groundbreaking effort. Four pioneers in art and science co-chair the Advisory Board that guides our work: Renée Fleming, Eric Nestler, Michael Paseornek, and Anna Deavere Smith.
