Anne Palmer

Anne Palmer, DMA is a Senior Project Manager at the International Arts + Mind Lab. She manages the Intentional Spaces Initiative, which includes the multi-institutional Set & Setting Collaborative. Anne provides strategic support to field-building efforts, including global convenings and the development of seminal reports focused on neuroarchitecture and design.

With over 25 years of experience as an arts administrator, educator, and professional singer, Anne has a proven track record of designing impactful programs, leading educational seminars, and streamlining processes. Her expertise includes identifying key themes, bridging gaps, and developing actionable strategies.

Holding a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Arizona State University, Anne’s work is deeply shaped by her understanding of the arts’ role in health and wellbeing. As a bilateral cochlear implant recipient, she has undergone a transformative process of auditory retraining, which has not only enabled her to accurately perceive music but has also enhanced her capacity for interpersonal connection and the creation of programs that promote personal and professional development. She is passionate about ensuring that the arts remain inclusive, welcoming, and accessible to all.
